Thank you Ivan Byrne and Stephen Balls.

The Plant Room is a greenhouse-gathering space at Loughborough Farm, originally envisioned by Tom Dobson. Recently refurbished while preserving its distinctive scaffolding structure, the space now features a new paver floor, lower gutter, and timber base.

This evolving structure was co-designed and co-built through a collaborative effort involving LSBU architecture students, farm volunteers, and local residents. The Plant Room now serves as a key space for growing activities and community events, strengthening the shared stewardship and social life of the site.
